Hi, I’m Shay Nefeteria—the heart behind Raveled in Blessings. I’m a full-spectrum doula, artist, healer, and creative guide devoted to holding space for transformation, truth, and tenderness. My work is rooted in the belief that every transition—whether birth, loss, healing, or growth—deserves to be met with presence, care, and sacred attention.

My path to doula work began with the birth of my two oldest children, just ten months apart. That intense and beautiful initiation into motherhood opened my eyes to the deep need for support during these vulnerable seasons of life. It led me to the International Doula Institute, where I expanded my skills in childbirth education, lactation support, and both birth and postpartum care.

But my offerings don’t stop at birthwork. I’m also a creative at heart—someone who curates soulful atmospheres for healing through art classes, intuitive gatherings, and celebration. I believe joy, expression, and community are essential parts of wellness.

Through Raveled in Blessings, I offer holistic doula support, reiki, ceremony, and creativity-centered experiences for people of color, LGBTQIA+ families, and anyone walking an intentional path. I serve New York City, Westchester, the Lower Hudson Valley, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
